James Cagney was an American actor and dancer, born in 1899 and died in 1986. He was a leading star in Hollywood films for more than 25 years and is best known for his roles in “The Public Enemy,” “Angels with Dirty Faces,” and “White Heat.” Cagney was known for his tough guy persona and his energetic, fast-paced acting style. He won an Academy Award for his role in “Yankee Doodle Dandy” in 1942.
