John Cleese is a British actor, comedian, writer, and producer. He is best known as a member of the Monty Python comedy troupe, and for his role as Basil Fawlty in the BBC comedy series “Fawlty Towers”. Cleese has also had a successful career as a screenwriter, and is known for his work on films such as “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”, “Life of Brian”, and “A Fish Called Wanda”. He has also appeared in several Hollywood films, including “Time Bandits”, “Rat Race”, and “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets”. Cleese continues to act and write, and is regarded as one of the greatest comedic talents of his generation.
