Yul Brynner

Yul Brynner was a Russian-born American actor who had a successful career in film, theater, and television. He is best known for his role as the King of Siam in the stage musical “The King and I,” which he also played in the film adaptation (1956). He won an Academy Award for his performance in the film. Brynner was also well known for his roles in films such as “The Ten Commandments” (1956) and “Westworld” (1973). He was widely regarded as one of the most charismatic actors of his time and continues to be remembered as a classic Hollywood icon.
