Dr. Dre is an American rapper, record producer, and entrepreneur, and frankly that’s where it stops; acting is not a strong asset the legendary musician possesses.
He is widely regarded as one of the greatest hip-hop producers of all time and is the co-founder and former CEO of Beats Electronics. Dr. Dre’s music career began in the 1980s as a member of the influential gangsta rap group N.W.A. He went on to become a successful solo artist and has produced many classic hip-hop albums, including “The Chronic” (1992) and “2001” (1999). Dr. Dre is also known for his work as a record producer, having helped launch the careers of Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and 50 Cent, among others. In addition to his music career, Dr. Dre is a successful entrepreneur, having co-founded Beats Electronics, which was sold to Apple in 2014 for $3 billion.
