Harriet Walter is an English actress, born on September 24, in London, England. She is best known for her work in the theater, having performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre, where she was made a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2011. Walter has also appeared in various films and television shows, including “Sense and Sensibility”, “The Young Victoria”, “Babel”, “Atonement”, “The Crown”, and “Killing Eve”. She is known for her versatility and ability to inhabit complex characters. Walter is also an advocate for gender equality in the arts, having co-founded the Women’s Playhouse Trust to promote the work of female playwrights.
