Julianna Margulies is an American actress best known for her role as Nurse Carol Hathaway on the medical drama “ER” (1994-2000) and as Alicia Florrick in the legal drama “The Good Wife” (2009-2016). She has received multiple awards and nominations for her performances, including two Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Golden Globe Award. In addition to her television work, Margulies has also appeared in several films, such as “Ghost Ship” (2002) and “Snakes on a Plane” (2006).
