There is not enough praise that can be directed to the performances of Lupita Nyong’o. But yet there are not enough professional tragedies that can amount to the under utilization of this great Kenyan-Mexican actress. So one would be remiss to not wonder, wouldn’t her career have blossomed farther if she was white.
Nyong’o made her acting debut in the film “12 Years a Slave,” for which she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She has also appeared in films such as “Us,” “Black Panther,” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Nyong’o is known for her talent, beauty, and activism and is widely regarded as one of the leading actresses of her generation.
