Mary Steenburgen is an American actress, singer, and songwriter. She was born on February 8, 1953, in Newport, Arkansas. She is known for her roles in movies such as “Melvin and Howard,” “Parenthood,” and “Back to the Future Part III.”
Steenburgen started her acting career in the 1970s and won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie “Melvin and Howard” in 1981. She has also received nominations for Golden Globe Awards and Emmy Awards for her performances in various movies and TV shows.
