Michael Chiklis is an American actor, director, and producer. He is best known for his role as Detective Vic Mackey on the FX crime drama series “The Shield” (2002-2008), for which he received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in 2002. Chiklis has also appeared in numerous other TV shows and films, such as “Fantastic Four” (2005), “American Horror Story” (2011-2015), and “Gotham” (2014-2019). He has received critical acclaim for his acting performances and has been nominated for several awards, including Primetime Emmy Awards.
